About

In the pursuit of creating a vibrant academic administrative mechanism, with a bent of mind in business management, it is believed that the student is the most potential customer for the business called ‘Academic and Research Support Services Management’. The student is a direct customer of the academic services sector, who is ultimately transformed into a product of the very business itself. The Academic and Research Support Services Management is the only unique activity, where its own customer becomes the ultimate product of the very business, and in turn helps building the brand-equity of the academic and research organization. The strong inclination for a user-friendly environment in the management of services, makes us to believe that the visitor, the student, the academician, the researcher, the internal customers (employees), external customers (the stake holders and parents) are the most important visitors of the campus and the brand ambassadors of the work carried out by the women and men at work.
A historical and philosophical perspective of the role of administrative mechanism means us to adopt the best practices of governance under the visionary guidance of Board of Governors of the Institute and the Academic Senate, besides the other statutory bodies. The very important purpose of administrative mechanism is to translate the vision of the Board of Governors and the Academic Senate into practice duly creating a flexible and progressive administrative framework. Creation and nurturing of a vibrant and dynamic academic and research services support system shall be the ultimate goal of administrative support mechanism, spirited with the sole philosophy of FACILITATION.
From its very inception, the Institute has been endeavoring to create a system rather than an individual centric administrative structure, with decentralized functional groups and a clear delegation of powers and responsibilities vested in Registrar, Deans, Heads of Academic and Non-Academic functional divisions. The Institute is sure that this has helped the Institute building a sustainable eco-system of management for achieving the twin goals of imparting Science Education and conducting the Scientific Research, with a lively administrative support mechanism, put in place and a willingness to adapt the change.
Freedom of thought at work with self-restraint and discipline are the essential spirits of the Institute that shall help achieving the quantitative and qualitative results in all spheres.
