Additionally, the Chemistry laboratories have the state-of-the-art facilities for the dissemination of introductory concepts in Chemistry, namely Physical, Inorganic, and Analytical Chemistry, to the students pursuing the MS program in our Institute. In this regards, the chemistry laboratory is equipped with advanced rotary evaporators (Model Buchi V-201), melting point apparatus, ice flaking machine, digital weighing balances, pH-meters, conductometers, vacuum pumps, water-distillation assembly, and fume-hood, Furthermore, the laboratory has basic instrumentation facilities polarograph, polarimeter, UV-Visible, and IR spectrophotometers. It is envisaged that experiments, utilizing the above mentioned facilities have been designed with the purpose of making a student appreciate fundamental principles and have contemporary knowledge in Chemistry.
