The Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT is an initiative by MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology), Government of India, aimed at enhancing the number of PhDs in the Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and IT/IT Enabled Services (ITES) sectors.
